I have been teaching and practising art and education in four diversely different countries over four decades, which has given me opportunities to explore a variety of cultures, spiritual practices, landscapes, gardening, stories and people. 

Weaving magic and prayer into my daily life where I take colourful adventures into the human psyche, the sacred, the messy, the dark and the light, creating a richly textured tapestry, from which to fly. 

An Anglo-Indian girl who grew up in the 60s to a musical father and practical mother, who ran our small holding in the Kentish countryside of England; 500-year-old houses and ghost stories were my norm.  After training as a primary classroom and art specialist teacher, I moved to the desert in 1992, in the Middle East to work both as a full-time teacher and a free-lance artist, getting prestigious jobs, working on huge murals and interiors.  Here I found my passion for adventure into the wild through 4 wheel driving, diving, fishing, mountain climbing, exploring and traveling, following the stories of the silk road and other ancient trading passages.  I continued my love of Moorish architecture in Southern Spain, when I headed an art department and moved to Andalucia.  

In my early 40s, I emigrated to Australia and began my own business, Colour Journeys, which has grown from a series of art workshops to a colour healing system of 22 essences with my husband, Greg Evans.  I have been a practising clinical hypnotherapist for the last ten years, continuously adding new skills to improve my time with clients.
